Taste & Flavour, are sought, quality and value pursued.  Our range is comprehensive, but not to the point of exhaustion.  Irish Gourmet doesn’t offer umpteen flavours of a type of food from multiple producers.  It selects one or two from over 30 Irish micro businesses and chooses what is their best.

Our designs are therefore derived from what you want and the message you ask us to send on your behalf.  That’s literally with your personalisable occasions message and choice of hamper.  It’s also figuratively speaking from the perspective of the types of things you want to see included in your Irish Gourmet Hampers.  Whilst unusual and different are sometimes exciting, safe, reliable and specialist products are what you seek and we pack.  Chilli flavoured Chocolate might be popular in Europe, but Ireland wants niche pure dark chocolate or Milk Chocolate Selections.

If we only included foods, which were made in Ireland exclusively, then the company would be weaker for it.  There are certain foods Ireland simply doesn’t make, which people from Ireland have requested to be included in their hampers for Irish people.  Whilst there are hampers which are entirely Irish, some of them contain one or two items from neighbouring European regions, Dutch Waffles made in Wales for instance, French Pate, Spanish Delicatessen items or are important components of the hamper/gift basket concept such as wine.  Yes you can buy Irish Wine, but at more than €50 per bottle, it is a gift in itself for a wine connoisseur.  It simply can’t be made at a price suitable for inclusion in an Irish hamper, so the Irish Gourmet looks for Irish Connections in the New World instead.
